Lee Corso was back on ESPN’s “College GameDay,” rocking headgear for the first time this college football season.

Saturday’s broadcast of the popular pregame show marked Corso’s 397th headgear pick since he started the tradition in 1996.

On Saturday, North Carolina and Drake Maye face Spencer Rattler and South Carolina in a big Week 1 showdown.

Prior to the broadcast, Corso announced his four College Football Playoff teams as Georgia, Michigan, Texas and USC. He picked Georgia to beat Texas in one semifinal and the Trojans to take down Michigan in the other one. He then projected the Trojans to beat the Bulldogs at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas for the national championship.

Corso, however, has never worn the Tar Heels headgear. Until today.
